Students and staff at Swansea College will celebrate Mis Cŵl Cymru/Cool Wales Month in style this year.

On 1st March pupils from Sketty Primary School Choir will join in the fun while student Rhiannon Morely-Lewis treats guests, including The Wave’s Mark Powell and Dr Dai Lloyd AM, to a medley of Welsh folk music played on the harp.

Supported Studies students will also perform a Welsh folk dance and play as well as selling tea and Welsh cakes and exhibiting their work.

“We know everyone will get behind Mis Cŵl Cymru again this year and we always have a wonderful time,” says lecturer and Welsh Language Officer Rhian Williams. “What with competitions, trips, exhibitions and themed days in the restaurant - where students will be serving up menus of delicious Welsh fare - there will be lots of opportunities to get involved.”
