Who are we and what are we about?

The Electrotechnical National Forum (ENF) has been established by individual efforts of Lecturers and External Verifiers from Colleges and Private Training Organisations across England and Wales with the intent to improve Electrical Installation Training.

All our members are committed to quality training and believe that vocational qualifications as well as easy access routes into the Electrical Industry may well be going in the wrong direction!

We therefore feel it necessary to bring together our concerns as a National Body (ENF).

It is a fact that many colleges have similar delivery concerns with the qualifications presented to us by the vocational awarding bodies and also similar issues with the new government guidelines set for personnel to work within the Electrical Industry.

These concerns have materialised from individual Regional area meetings across England and Wales and subsequently as a Electrotechnical National Forum (ENF) we hope to be able to get ourselves acknowledged by all the relevant awarding bodies as well as Government, QCA, Summit skills and the Sector Councils to improve... Content, Standardisation and Delivery methods of electrical courses.
