At Swansea College many students choose to study Higher Education part time. Offering a range of part-time study options, our students have a flexible solution to perhaps studying whilst working or balancing family commitments.


Our Access to Higher Education programmes require no formal qualifications and have been developed to:

  • Encourage mature students who have decided on a career change or are returning to their studies following a break
  • Supplement A Level qualifications or BTEC courses already achieved in order to gain a place on a Higher Education course
  • Fast track students who are keen to progress onto a Higher Education course

All our Higher Education courses are approved by a selection of Universities including the University of Glamorgan and The University of Wales, Newport. This ensures we have a wide range of courses available to study.
