Learning Zones

The Learning Zones have everything you need to help you with your course. Facilities include:
 

  • Books for reference and loan 
  • Online information resources, including e-books, e-journals, e-encyclopaedias, etc.
  • Online research and study guides
  • Online subject web links
  • IT drop-in facilities, with supported access to all College networked applications, including the Moodle VLE, the Virtual Learning Zone and the Internet
  • DVDs, CDs, language packs and maps
  • Black-and-white and colour photocopying and printing facilities
  • Scanners
  • Laminating and binding facilities, and stationery for loan and purchase
  • Friendly expert staff to advise and assist you

Term time opening hours for the Learning Zone at Tycoch
Monday to Thursday - 8.30am to 7.00pm
Friday - 8.30am to 4.30pm

Term time opening hours for the Learning Zone at Llwyn y Bryn
Monday and Tuesday - 9.00am to 7.00pm
Wednesday and Thursday – 9.00 – 5.00pm
Friday - 9.00am to 4.00pm

Term time opening hours for the Learning Zone at Kingsway Centre
Monday - 9.30am to 4.00pm (closed 12.30pm to 1.00pm)
Wednesday - 9.30am to 11.45am
Thursday - 9.30am to 4.00pm (closed 1.30pm to 2.00pm)

Term time opening hours for the Learning Zone at Cefn Hengoed
Wednesday and Thursday - 9.30 – 3.00pm (closed at lunch time)
