A Level and the Arts
If you are considering going on to university and would like to keep your options open, then A Levels may be the ideal route for you.
We have a broad range of A Level subjects to choose from. In addition to the more traditional subjects like the Sciences and Languages, the college also offers a range of A Level subjects not traditionally offered at GCSE including World Development, Psychology and Sociology.
Vocational routes are also available, all of which prepare you for university or employment.
You can even combine A Levels with other non-A Level courses such as Accountancy AAT qualifications [which also have UCAS points accredited to them.]
There are strong support systems in place through the personal tutor system as well as individual student support within the classroom.
Each course uses a variety of teaching methods with strong emphasis on your participation via group discussions. You will also benefit from a range of activities which will enhance your studies, including fieldwork and cultural visits.
The faculty offers a diverse enrichment programme where you can take dance classes, learn to become a photographer or try your hand at musical theatre. Whatever you choose, the programme is sure to help you enhance your skills and develop new ones.
